The debut version of Adobe Photoshop was released in September 1988, both for Windows and Mac environment. In January 2006 the first version of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom was released which was only for the Mac environment but by the September of the same year it released the beta version which was for both indows and Mac. Initially it was only known as Lightroom but within an year of release it got merged up with Adobe and was known as Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. The Adobe Photoshop Family also comprises of a very useful Photo Editing Program i.e. Adobe Photoshop Express, which is a web based Photo Editing Program and one can use it to directly edit photos online.

Now the Adobe Photoshop Family is so much in use that special keyboards have been designed for their application like :- Lightroom Keyboard, Photoshop Keyboard for easy access and direct shortcut buttons for several applications in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.
